Given the tsunami of afflictions being endured, I believe we can emphasize the centrality of consoling the wounded in our Christian ministry without neglecting the reality of sin and the need for repentance.

Emanating from that singular manger scene of Bethlehem is a message and witness and love that touches all times, all places, and all peoples.

If you are a Christian, you are politically homeless. This has always been true. Now it is obvious. Our calling is to place eternal principles over ephemeral factions in this disciple-defining moment.

It has become popular for people of faith to seek a middle ground in the abortion debate of being “personally opposed” while according choice to others. This is why I think that position is problematic.
